My wife and I met Eleen while shopping for a new home in Englewood Cliffs, NJ in late 2021. Going into the height of the housing bubble in 2022, we had pretty much given up hope that we would find anything of interest (and much less, value) in the near term. However, Eleen never gave up hope and constantly kept us up-to-date on the market trends and showed new inventory in the area as they popped up. What especially impressed me during this time was that Eleen was never pushy during the shopping phase — as many realtors can be — and had always kept our needs and wants in mind when presenting new homes to view. When I was not able to attend open houses, Eleen even volunteered to attend and take videos in my absence, which I have never experienced with any of my past realtors in my past 4 condo purchases. While leaving one of the open houses that we had attended, I saw a modern-style house across the street and mentioned that I would love for that house to come on market, because that was very close to what we were looking for. In about a week, Eleen dropped me a note saying that that exact house may be coming to market very soon. I later found out that she had hand-written a letter to the owner of the modern-style home at my passing comment and had even convinced them to take advantage of the current seller’s market. While impressive, her incredible reach and expertise as a top-class realtor does not end there. On the way to the pre-listing showing of the said modern house that she delivered on a silver platter, Eleen (nearly) dragged me to another open house on a home that I had previously written off as being too old and dated. However, Eleen saw through the crappy photos and dated decor, and recognized the hidden value of this home and made sure that I at least saw it. As fate would have it: once I saw the house, I saw that Eleen was absolutely right on the money. I made an offer on that previously written-off house that very same day. I was thoroughly impressed by Eleen’s keen acumen in identifying the so-called diamonds in the rough, rather than going the easy route and sticking with what sells easily. She also presented my space really well with a little bit of staging (dining tables and bedrooms) and lit scented candles and music. From the moment I spoke to Eleen on the phone, I knew I was dealing with a top-notch professional who not only was truly committed to helping me and my husband find a great home for our family, but also someone that took tremendous pride in her work.
